I seem to have a penchant of choosing grotty, cold, windy weather to sleep on the hills....
Tonight is clearly no exception....!
At least there's a few of us for a group hug if it gets too scary!

Got a bag full of strongy and sparklers - what could go wrong...?,

Given the cold, I predict a high risk of spooning before dawn.
Are your brethren of clean demeanor ?

I really want to try a bivvy trip, but one mate won't ride coz he's finally realised his frame's too small & the other's got a bad back, and no more biking mates 🙁

That's all well and good but what if the trail comes alive?

Rise and shine! Sorry...probably not a good phrase if you've been spooning all night 😀

Well, it was chillier than I was dressed for...
Took a while to get the fire going, but once it took we all defrosted! Rain stayed away until later this morning, but thankfully had all packed up by then.
Beautiful South Downs morning, however.

I think I might be investing in a down jacket - it's easy to keep warm when riding, much harder once you stop!
