I've picked up a road triple crankset for the commuter but with a 118.5 BB on it, the small and middle rings JUST foul the chain stays. I can find a few octalink V2 BBs in 121mm width which would probably be fine, but no shallow splined ones. Any ideas??

p,

You are out of luck as they only do the 2 sizes in this link:

If the extra width you need is only 2.5mm, fit a standard external spacer and see if that works. I know it will move the BB to the right, but the left cup should support it, or get one of the alloy left cups that will disappear into the BB shell.

Thanks for the offer - I'm guessing it's octalink v2 with the long splines??
