Any preferences? Needs to fit a Planet X Pro Carbon with 23mm tyres, and keep my arse dry.
I don't think my Pro Carbon has mudguard eyelets, so you are probably limited to Race Blades.
Crud race guards. Bit of a faff to fit but work.
another vote for the crud race guards. look very minimalistic once on the bike and do the job of keeping you dry.
just keep your arse dry?

won't win you any friends in a group but will keep your arse dry.
Raceblade Long don't even think of any others for a road bike. These fasten to the QR axle and easily accomodate a 23c. The small brackets mount to the brake bolts and mean that guards do not pass under the brakes. To convert to non guard mode is a two minute job - I do this before a race, and back again to ride home.
Apart from not covering the full rear wheel down to the chainstay bridge, they are every bit as good as the P35 chromoplastics on my commuter. Buy with absolute confidence. I've ridden mine for two months over dreadful winter roads and they are as sturdy and true as any permanent guards.
For reference, I've tried Cruds, floppy and fragile, My LBS are waiting to palm off their last set before expanding the SKS sales. I've also used normal raceblades. The Longs are just magnificent. I can see no downsides other than price. As a tip, if you don't fit the front extension, you have enough brackets for TWO bikes. Then just swap wheels as the fittings stay on the axle.
Standard race blades for me, didn't expect much but they have turned out to be very effective and reliably stay in place. Don't do much for following riders but nothing short of full guards with flaps will.
Not cheap but good if you don't have eyelets.
