Hi all,
Well it's time to change my lenses on my Jawbones.
I run prescription lenses and currently run a set of clear lenses and a set of dark.
These do not need to be a general purpose lenses as have the clear.
Strictly for bright sunny conditions.
There are so many!
What's your views?
Thanks,
Max
Try some and find out. Everyone is different.

turn your head on it's side!
Black Iridium Polarised for the win.
Pricey, but great lens
Depends on what colour you want from the outside - eg Ice Iridium look daft in a red or black frame (IMO), but look good in white or silver frames.
Black Iridium is safe!
Best ones I've used are VR28 polarised. PLenty dark-enough and have brilliant contrast

How strange. My Oakley ones are fine with both the 500 and 810.
I use Black Iridium sunlasses for driving. Great lenses - no glare, good contrast and keep colours genuine.
Ahh,
Black Iridium was my guess.
What does the polarised do to the vision as gonna be prescription.
Thanks,
Max
If anyone wants a set of unused Black iridium Jawbones / Racing Jacket lenses, let me know. I got two dark lenses with mine which is kinda pointless.
Have you looked at the Prizm lenses?
Black Iridium Polarised for the win.Pricey, but great lens for perving at the laydeez on a sunny day.
😉
Gold iridium. Very soft golden brown tint. 9% light transmission so one of the darkest. Very easy on the eye and comfortable.
I'm not really a fan of the Black Iridium either, happy to sell mine as well. Fire Iridium are really nice but my new favourites are the Prizim Road. I need to get some Trail leases as well but they don't do those in Jawbreakers AFAIK.
I would definitely say try befor you buy, or at least use the Oakley app, as, unsurprising, people's opinions differ.
Have a look at oakleys 'mad science' app. You can try all the lens colours and see the trail lens in use on an actual trail video, it's really good.
I splashed out on the Transition lenses for my jawbones. Best thing I ever did (as far as glasses go!). Don't have to worry about whether I have the right lens in or when riding in the sunshine and then heading into forests. I've got the Black Iridium ones, plenty dark enough for bright days & go all the way to clear. Expensive but worth it.
I have Black Iridium Transitions and often feel like they don't go dark enough.
So as has been said, everyone is different.
