Are there any differences in them? Besides the cost!

This is the key part, need to know which one you can actually fit

Completely different.

NX weighs a metric ton.

NX has an 11t top gear.

NX fits a HG freehub.

GX is quite a lot lighter (still not light, but a lot lighter).

GX has a 10t top gear

GX fits an XD freehub.

You can get the GX ones for ~£100 now if you shop around, I think R2bike have them on sale?

At the other end of the cassette NX is 50T and GX is 52T

NX v hard wearing - mine has 2800 KM on it and seems pretty healthy still

I have a replacement in the shed that i bought during lockdown thinking I'd never have another chance, and that was £96. Bit annoyed.

I bent a cog on a near new NX the other week. Mainly my fault for shirting under load on an ebike but even so I wouldn't say they are robust, not managed to do that on any other cassette in the last 5 years

I've only got wimpy legs so i need to change early to get up things, so I've never managed bent teeth on a cassette.

In reality the difference in weight is only about 150g so not a great deal.

I'll second that the NX is very hard wearing. Got a new bike in 2020 and I'm just needing to replace the cassette now.

I have a brand new, unused, GX cassette sitting here, surplus to requirements, if you are interested.
