You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Seem to have noticed nuun hydration tablets going out of stock in quite a few shops (or stopping being sold) and a reduced range of flavours in the places that still sell them. Are they withdrawing from the UK market?
I suppose the high5 zero will do in its place but i prefer the taste of nuun so if they are disappearing i'll have to stock up before they are too difficult to get.
I found this too when i was looking to order recently. However have got some set aside for me at the bike chain who have just placed an order. Not heard of any issues.. High 5 zero poor substitute imo!
I switched to High 5 Zero seeing as it's far cheaper but having a quick look around you seem to be right, not at Wiggle anymore and limited (and dodgy) flavours at CRC.
TBH i could never tell if either actually works (although i think i cramped up less after using them) so i've stuck with the cheaper option.
My supplier told me that they'd been forced to cease European distribution following an EU ruling which outlawed one of their ingredients.
A dark day.
Gawd bless the EU and all its little weirdo do gooders.
What was the ingredient that the EU banned - erythropoietin?
Same problem with Honey Stinger gels....
Hey there guys,
My names Josh (usually Handyman153 on this forum). I am the bike guy for nuun in the UK. Having just seen this post, i thought i better sign up and let you know what is going on.
There is no cease in European distribution at all. We are certainly still distributing nuun here in the UK. But at the moment, we are completely refurbishing the branding and style. And bringing out 5 new exciting flavours, to compliment the original 6 -
Strawberry Lemonade
Tropical
Fruit Punch
Grape
Lemon Tea
These are becoming available in shops at the moment, and by the end of Feb they should be much easier to get hold of.
In the mean time, nuun is still available via our website - www.nuun.co.uk
Any questions please dont hesitate to contact me, i will try my best to help.
Thanks
Josh.

I'm giving the zipvit ones a go at the moment. Can't make my mind up whether I like the taste of them, but what attracted me to them is:
Unlike most low calorie sports drinks ZV0 uses natural flavours and colours and does not contain chemical additives like sodium benzoate, polyethylene glycol and acesulfame K.
