This problem has built up for the last couple of months since i upped my training for Mayhem. Think its got worse as there was quite a bit of pushing/walking with my stiff bike shoes on due to the copiius amounts of mud. The tip and outside of the big toe on my left foot is totally numb on the outside and if i rub the ball of my foot its obvious that I've damaged a nerve cos I can feel it tingle. Its quite painful if i have to walk any kind of distance. Anybody experienced this and will some new (possibly heat molded) insoles helps. Cheers

sounds like you have put alot of pressure on the nerve at the tip of your toe and caused nerve damage, this should go away in time ,ive had it before and it took about 5 weeks to go away.try to rest it buy wearing shoes/trainer with ample room better still flip flops, and refrain from pushing bike up hill.nothing to panic about.
