I have just discovered a crack in my seat tube on my 2016 Mega. Has anyone had any experience dealing directly with Nukeproof as the dealer I bought it from has closed down. Sent them a photo of the damage and a copy of my recite.
Mate of mine had a crack on the seat tube of a 2013 Mega, so out of warranty. He's a big lad with minimal finesse and was totally upfront with them about ride style etc, really polite, didn't try blagging it with the old JRA line.
They came back to him (bear in mind well out of warranty) with an offer of 30% off a new one. Can't say fairer than that, he was well chuffed.
So as always with these things, the trick is to play nice, ask for help/assistance and appeal to the human side.
I'm sure you'll be seen right.
Friend got a new 2018 frame when his 2017 cracked.
I believe the metric shock was included, dunno what the score with the boost rear wheel was though.
Was dealt with very quickly in time for his holiday.
