There was a thread a while back about Nukeproof having been acquired by the Belgian Cycling Factory, that got closed for some reason.

Anyway, they've started to update the Nukeproof website. There's not much currently but surely it's a good sign and they're looking to have Nukeproof bikes & products available through their dealer network in Q3 of 2005.

Q3 of 2005.

Wow, bet Sam Hill is still riding an Iron Horse Sunday!

That's really good news.  Especially for all the people who got some absolute bargain bikes and frames in the clearance sale. You'd expect spares to be sorted now

TBF Ascend Components picked up the spares straight after the collapse, so there’s never been an issue

Will they be doing Nukeproof clothing or just frames and parts?

Now you can't download any service manuals etc thanks to the update, genius idea.

Cosmic. Just when I think I might need some new bearings in a Neutron headset. It is one of those ones that I think CRC were knocking out for £2.99 by the end. I think they were ZS44/ZS56.

Can anyone confirm for me, please?

There was a recent thread where Trailvision where mentioned, they have a Nukeproof bearing kit (for all Nukeproof 1.5/1 1/8th headsets dating back to 2015):

https://trailvision.co.uk/products/nukeproof-1-1-8-1-5-headset-bearing-kit-blueseal-bike-bearings%E2%84%A2

I think they were ZS44/ZS56.

I believe you're right, I also recently asked about them, but replaced the whole headset with a Bird ZS headset, before I'd  heard about the Trailvision Nukeproof kit. Someone also posted a link to Kinetic Bike Bearings but there you need to figure out exactly which bearings to buy.

Yes, apologies.

More diligent digging on my part finds that all NP 1-1/8in to 1.5in tapered headsets take the same ZS44/ZS56 bearings.

I've just ordered some of those blue seal jobs.

I'm not sure when it happened, but I've just noticed that they've reinstated the technical documents.
