Need some new shorts and looking at the nukeproof outland shorts. Anyone know what sizings like? Reviews on CRC “buy a size up…..perfect true to size….go a size down” so people are obviously optimistic about waistlines or maybe comparing brands.
Size chart I’d be medium, jeans I wear a 33 waist. Go with a medium or is nukeproof sizing like Next and a 72” waist is classed as a small or Italian racing snakes where at 20” waist is XXL??!!
Thanks
go medium, I'm 33"ish and have 2 mediums
Probably medium, I have two pairs of NP shorts in medium and a 33in waist. They need cinching in with the velcro, so not that tight.
it's a complete lottery, different style MTB shorts from NP have hugely different fit for the same size label. Not like a little bit, but massively. Waist and thigh space totally inconsistent.
I just bought a ton of different sizes of the ones I wanted, to find the correct fit.
Thanks.
The buy loads and send it back was my original thoughts but getting tired of having to do that!
Definitely medium - Im 34" waist and have those exact shorts, medium is spot on.
i have just put a pair in my basket to complement the pair i already have.
i used to wear large (mainly in fox) but have lost a bit of weight so went with the medium. They are still a touch large, but otherwise are a great fit.
I am not sure why some folk say to size up, as they would be massive!
I found Nukeproof Outland shorts just didn’t fit me. I’m about a 33” waist in terms of most jeans and 5’9 tall.
The mediums were way too big on the waist and the small was ok waist but too small a fit on legs and seat.
Ended up buying Fox Ranger Water shorts on offer from cRC. I ordered the 32” and the 34” and the 32” are the best fit for me.
I have small NP trousers in one style but needed medium shorts in the same style. Other NP shorts I have are small and fit well. Couldn’t be more variable... my waist is 32-33” FWIW
My 36" (L) Nukeproof shorts are a great fit and still have plenty of room in them.
I bought some pants in the same size and I can't even close them 🙂
Still, it's a good incentive to lose a bit of weight!
