I'm off to Scotland in a few weeks so I'm trying to find a spare mech hanger to take with me.
I've scoured the internet, non in stock.
I've contacted hotlines, non in stock, they said contact Nukeproof.
I've contacted Nukeproof, no reply.
I've tried the aftermarket suppliers, don't do that hanger.
Anyone know where I can get one from ASAP?
Looks like I'm going to need bearings too as 10 rides in there is play in the bearings. Don't even get me started on the poor paint work. Apart from the fact it goes like stink downhill, I'm very much regretting this purchase!
Can't help with the mech hanger, I got mine from CRC when they were in stock.
But have you eliminated the DU shock bushings for the play issue? Mine has a real appetite for the rear one.
Yeah. Already swapped the lower bushing for off set ones, they're fine. It's the rocker bearing.
Can't believe they have no mech hangers anywhere in the UK!
The bearings aren't great, I complained and CRC sent me a new set. No idea on a spare mech hanger though, sorry!

there isn't any as they were all been sent back to china as they weren't made correctly hence hotlines and crc said speak to nukeproof because no one wants to be the one to tell you there faulty .
the only way to get what I did is out them on facebook
I bought my nukeproof mega 290 2 years ago and within 3 rides the bearings were knackered -the pivot bolts fussed with permanent Loctite the paint chipped like egg shell - the sram rear outer freehub bearing lasted roughly the same time .
why they use the flanged bearings that no one sells is hideous I eventually took them on with trading standards and got my money back after 3 months and they admitted a small batch left with the wrong Loctite meaning you had to drill the pivot bolts out .
good luck changing the bearings the chainstay ones are blind and a right bastard .some push in by hand others are so tight them only just go in .

Is that what happened with the Vitus ones as well then? Because i had the same problem with looking for an escarpe mech hanger.
I was told on Monday this week by a Hotlines employee that they have them in stock, so I'd contact them again and ask them to look really hard 😉

yes the threads where the mech screws on were only on the first part of the hanger not all the way through .typical Chinese manufacturing
