Seen a few pictures of bikes with the new Nukeproof Electron pedals fitted. How do they compare to the Neutron/Proton in terms of overall grip?
I have a pair that I've ridden 10 or so times. I haven't ridden Neutron/Proton so I can't compare them in terms of grip (but they do seem to be nice and grippy). What I can say is that after a few rides some play developed. This was easily cured by tightening the two end caps (one sits inside the other in the pedal). These end caps thread into the nylon body causing me to wonder about the longevity of the pedals (threading metal into nylon is unlikely to be durable). Time will tell.
That's concerning, was looking for something durable.
