Looking at an insulated Blackline jacket for general on off bike use. Anybody used one. Any good how do they size? TIA

Is that the softshell one? If so, it massively oversized. I’m usually an XL in mtb jackets and even the large is a generous fit.

Agree, I have the medium for all NP tops etc but the medium jacket is too big really.

I've been using one for a few years, on and off the bike and couldn't recommend them more. A fantastic jacket! And still looks brand new despite spending a lot of its time covered in moorland filth

As everyones said, they size up large

  • Yeh the softshell one but now looking at the micro baffle one as well for colder days.

I bought the microbaffle/puffa after reading the good review by STW and I'm very happy with it. I bought it to replace a Montane Prism and it's a fair bit warmer (of course my prism may have lost its edge over the years!). I've got a large and I'd say it was true to size.

The softshell version is lovely and as said, they definitely come up big. I do have one big problem with it, it’s so nice I don’t want to mess it up so rarely wear it on the bike. I should have bought two. 🙂
