both 29ers, both 150mm rear and 160mm front, almost identical geometry. I can have either with almost identical spec for about the same money (pre-owned)
The Orbea is carbon fibre and sports an on-trend short offset fork
The snabb is alloy and has a more progressive frame linkage (which i like)
I like enduro type riding, primarily the downs and also lots of bike park shenanigans.
Is there any other reason to choose one over the other?
Don't have an Orbea Rallon nor an NS Snabb.... and can't say anything about the Snabb.
But when doing vacation in Spain I met quite some owners of the Rallon (and Occam). Those trails are extremely gnarly with lots of rocks and stuff - appeared to me that the Orbea bikers were very happy with the Rallon and that this bike really can take a beating.
Impressive bike the Rallon. Fast bike for gnarly trails.
Downvote the snabb because they're now boring colours. Bring back the hard-to-look-at ones!
Never ridden the Orbea so can't compare but the Snabb is really bloody awesome. Maybe I'd like a little more wheelbase but I like the size otherwise, it's big without being extreme. Rear suspension wasn't as good as my remedy's penske but then nothing is pretty much, but everything else was better right from the first minute. Modern bikes are awesome.
Is the Define within your range? If nothing else it's much nicer looking imo, not as broke-backed and loses the nasty seatmast bridge thing.
I like my Rallon
I have nothing else to offer

What he said.
Rallon. And go custom colours.
i ordered an orbea in 2016 but delays meant i had to find something else.
Long chat and several cups of tea with Denham at Dc cycles and I ended up with a snabb, admittedly it's the 650 version but I absolutely love it, been a serial bike changer forever but now see no reason to change.
So NS for me, I like the fact no one knows what it is, Matt black frame with gloss black logos and the odd gold bit ☺
27.5 Snabb 4 steeze
I’m having great fun and doing trails I’d of ridden past on my rallon.

Haha. Correct. Saw plenty NS hardtails - but never a Snabb.
Not ridden either of them but havem't heard a bad word about the Rallon including some glowing reviews and happy riders I've met. So that's an easy win for me, especially if resale value is any kind of consideration.
Check out bkxc on you tube, he has rallon and raves about it.
I like my Rallon. I demoed a Bronson and a 5010 beforehand to have a point of reference. It's great value, I've not changed anything from the standard build, and it climbs as well as my Tallboy 2 (although admittedly it's got a 50T on the rear vs 46T on the TB). Fantastic on the descents though.
Funny:
above all very positive about the NS Snabb and/or the Rallon...
The PO picked two neat bikes.
As good as the Snabb looks I might have to cross it off having found out it has a progressive-to-regressive leverage as I want to run a coil.
Rallon is top of the list along with a 29er Capra I think!
Really i'm wanting to buy pre-owned but i'm also holding out on tomorrows Airdrop Edit V3 release
Just a quick note on the delays. I’ve bought about twenty orbeas in the past year, about 50:50 Rallon and Occam AM. When you enter the order on the web (Spanish one I use but I guess the U.K. one is the same), you get a delivery date. I’ve waited a few weeks and also up to 4.5 months but they have always arrived within a few days of the promised date. Even if you order via a shop you can use the web shop to get quick estimate of delivery. Hopefully that makes sense and is aplicable in the U.K. too.

What size are you after? I have a mate who is selling his almost new Rallon.
XL

...and I guess it's pretty tough for the bike to get used from basqueMTB. Enduro type, rough trails, maaaannnnny very fast downhill runs, endless shuttle transports on dirt roads and bikers which don't own the bike!
XL
Shame his is a L or M.
The bikes get a hard life, but they seem to like it!
One of my mates has the previous version of the Rallon (the alloy one) and I liked riding it when I borrowed it. It was a perfect fit for me! Good little climber, not as good as Cubes FS bikes but good enough given it ploughs on downhill! The rear triangle was flexy, but it didn't seem bad when riding and it was a tad heavy, but that's me being super picky! Another mate has an Occam AM and he flings it off all manner of ridiculously steep freeride lines and it keeps coming back for more.
+1 Orbea. Good bikes you won't go wrong. NS frames are cool and all but the welding can be a bit industrial/untidy and the finishes easily scratched and chipped.

Lots of love for Orbea!
