So I've been looking for something bigger than my old stumpy for BPW, Alps etc and had pretty much settled on something with around 160 at each end but then came across the 2016 YT Capra
which has 180/170, pretty amazing spec for the price and looks like it would go uphill reasonably well BUT not sure why that much travel on an 'enduro' bike? seems like overkill but i guess they feel there is a market?

The Capra's here have 165/160 travel and look unbelievable value:

I personally wouldn't get too hung up on the exact amount of travel, there's more too it than that.
The Capra is known for being a decent climber for an 'Enduro' bike, but I have to admit I muttered 'da fug' when I saw the 180/170 version, not long ago that sort of travel was seen on some massive freeride monster.
Anyway, there's a 160/160 version and a 170/165 version.
