Following on from the DT that turned out to be useless to me earlier, does anyone happen to know which Novatec model the Switch Evo corresponds to? Just wondering because I've got a pile of endcaps and axles sitting around and it seems silly buying new if there's a reuse possibility.

Ideally I'm really hoping the Switch Evo is a 791/792 but if it isn't it isn't and I need to buy different hubs!

Cool, thanks for the info. Shame it's not the ones I had a deal on.

I'm doing really well tonight !

Sorry for thread hijack but does anyone know if superstar use the Novatec D771SB / D772SB combo rebadged as something else and/or if they can be converted (currently set up as std 9mm QR)

Thanks,

Andy

I've seen conversions for 100x15 and 135x10 & 142x12 this evening. Not 110x20 though which was what I needed for the front. I may not have looked hard enough though!

Andy, I've got a set of the D771/772s, Superstar brand them as the Switch Ultralite. Superstar have endcaps for the front and axles for the rear to convert them. Either QR/10mm/15mm front and 135QR/135x12/142x12 on the back. The front (D771) can't be converted to 20mm like the Switch Evo.

As said above the Switch Evos are Novatec D881/D882.

I got my D771/D772 from cycling deal.au in Australia. Arrived in 6 days and cost £62 for the pair (Inc postage), and then got the appropriate endcaps from Superstar as above.

I've been eying the 771 deal from Australia, hence disappointment at no 20mm.

Seriously considering a change of fork... it'll totally blow the 'cheap reactivation of old 26er FS' apart and leave it starting to look like a fresh build on an old frame, but it's going to give me so many more options.

JakD95 - thanks.

Just realised mine are D711DB and D712SB - anyone know if these can be converted?
