I've proposed a local ride starting in the Wyre Forest on Sunday, but going out to some of the local bridleways and other tracks 😉 in the area on the [url=

Forest MTB Facebook group.
The forest is pretty muddy at the moment, so I'm trying to keep it to harder tracks where possible.
There will be some mud and some inevitable road sections to link it all up, plus a fair bit of canal tow path. It's the best I can do, considering the ground conditions.
Duke William at 9am if anyone's interested.

No map, but if you know the area, or can look this up on an OS map, I was planning on;
Dowles brook to the Severn - Bewdley - cross river - river bank to end of bypass - Burlish Top - Canal - Wolverley - Fairfield - Hollies Lane - Eymore Wood - Arley
I think that will be about 30km altogether.
The canal's not very interesting, there's a bit of road between Wolverley and Hollies lane and Hollies Lane itself is a bit of a slog, but the Forest is a swamp at the moment so I'm just trying to link up a few good all weather tracks.

The route's just a suggestion at the moment. I can change it if there's a demand.

Its still on. Mrs MTG is doing a shorter version, we'll meet her in Bewdley on the way out and she'll go straight home from Arley on the way back.

Will probably do something similar next Sunday. Maybe castle Hill to Kinver or Route 45 to Chelmarsh Reservoir.

How do I do that ?
I've got it as a .FIT file on my Garmin 800. How do I convert it to .GPX and make it available for you to download ?

I'm guessing that you might be able to download a GPX from endomondo? I'm not sure though as I don't use it. Otherwise I could have a go at converting the .fit file.

If you could drop me an email that would be great. Address in profile. 🙂
