Hello all,

Been riding about a year but struggling to find many trails nearby, Warrington is in a fairly flat part of the country. The only purpose built trails I know of within say an hours drive are llandegla, Delamere and Lee Quarry.

Anyone know of anymore?

I've checked a few sites and I know of Gisburn and Cannock a little further afield but don't seem to be able to find anything else, in this neck of the woods. There must more or really good natural trails I'm yet to find.

Cheers,
John.

Hebden Bridge and Todmorden and the Pennines are your friend

Have a look in the West Yorkshire mountain bike book

(Although they are mebbe slightly further away than just 'local')

The trails at Philips Park (Prestwich/Whitefield) are only 20 mins away .... very short, but superb for a quick blast.
