Evening all...

Thinking of a quick getaway to Northumberland this weekend.

Any recommendations on places to stay and trails to head for?

Cheers all,

P

Go and stay in Tynemouth, pootle around on the sea front, enjoy somewhere a bit different, go surfing, drink beer, eat food, explore Newcastle, ride up the Tyne.

No problem it's a lovely place and a nice village, they even have beer and food like those big cities.

Paul - that's a good call by Drac. 🙂 I had some guiding from Tim a few years ago, seriously nice bloke and accommodation is in a lovely little village.

Hope you're enjoying being back in the UK?

Done a couple of road bike trips there, one quite bleak around Keilder, another ace from Alnwick to Lockerbie. Stayed in an oddball B&B with HUGE cats, was cool.

No, just no Trotters is utter crap.

What you really want is this place.
