I'm looking at buying a house in the back end of Shirley, just down the road is the start of the North Worcestershire Path which runs all the way to Bewdley through the Lickey hills, Clent and Kinver does any one have any knowledge of this path - guessing most if not all of it will be cheeky if it is indeed a (foot)path.

Apart from this, there isn't much doorstep riding around Solihull. 🙁

I don't know much about the Eastern end but I'm in North Bromsgrove and parts of the path through the Lickey Hills, which is largely rideable anyway if you're courteous and the ground conditions are ok, and over the A38 into Waseley Country Park are rideable. Some bits also have bridleways running close as alternative non-styled routes. I have a local loop that I ride in the drier months that takes in Lickey, Waseley and Clent with a minimal amount of road riding.

To be honest the best idea is to study some 1:25000 OS maps and go exploring. That's what I did when I moved into the area.
