I'm riding Revs tomorrow, so contemplating staying over and doing a day or two of pedalling over the weekend. I imagine there's loads of amazing off piste riding in the hills that direction?

I've only done Eastridge and the bike parks round there. I don't suppose there's any friendly locals riding at the weekend that would let me tag along? or point me in the direction of the good riding.

Are the venue Pearce use for racing accessible on non race days?

Some of them.
Hopton, Bucknell and Bringewood.
All have good riding though I'm not too sure on the forestry situation at the moment.

Bucknell has some fantastic trails, similar to Eastridge but less battered.

As for off-piste near Revs, it's a bit more hush-hush - but it might be worth calling in at Llanfyllin, where they hold some of the Welsh Enduro Series races. Small-ish hill but fun trails IIRC.

Another vote for Bringewood.
No idea about the state of the trails as they're now to far away for me to ride.
There also appears to be some good stuff popping up in the woods behind the glider club at the Long Mynd.

I'll be checking them out next time we head south of the border to visit mates.

If you are at Revolution, you are literaly on the Berwyns, there a few trails going through them, look at the ceiriog trail (upper and lower, can be linked), the wayfarers etc, its a hard ride over some remote areas.

There is some cool stuff at Bringewood but the conditions and trails are a bit ropey at the moment, or they were last weekend. I think it’s the muddiest, slippiest and filthiest ride I’ve had for years 🙂 lots of fallen trees and branches too. I’d hunt out stuff in Wales…

Thanks all. Change of plans means I'm not able to stick around, but I'm in Shropshire next weekend so will have a look at Bringewood and Bucknell
