Anyone have a decent loop around the Ruthin area that's suitable for a CX bike that they wouldn't mind sharing? I'm staying in the area for work and might have a free day

Thanks although I thought the MTB Marathon routes used some sections across private land which could only be ridden as part of the event? Also not sure how cx friendly it would be?
Pretty sure most of the Ruthin route is ok to ride. A big chunk is in a country park.
There were a few CX bikes on this years ride. The big / water bottle descent might be tricky, its fast steep and on hard ground. Also the descent above the reservoir has some rockie sections.
