Did anyone do this last week? Got a gpx or route they can share with me perchance ;)!? It looked like a good idea, ~80km mostly offroad from central London. I couldn't do it unfortunately

Didn't even know about this, would be interested in seeing the route too. I'm guessing, bassed on the NE London description, it's using canals through lee valley and fire roads in Epping...

Didn't do the route but happened to ride part and noticed someone logged it on Strava- look for #northlondondirt I think.  If you can't find it I'll find it tonight.

Tbh I don't fully understand why you'd pay to do it as it seems to follow well beaten paths.

This isn't the one I had in mind but matches my recollection of the guy's I saw:

Now I see money was donated for charity so retract my comment about it not being worth paying for.  Also looks like there's some bits I didn't know about.

Because it was a charity fundraiser and there was loads of bonus merch and beer and stuff donated from several cool companies who supported it…?

Yep, that was the route. It was a really good ride and as pointed out above, all for a good cause. The proportion of off road compared to on road was impressive for something starting in the City. Everywhere was rock hard and bone dry, which meant coming off on a gravelly corner left its mark...

Great, thanks. Yeah I was disappointed not to have been able to do it. Hopefully there will be another!

Gutted to have missed it to be honest, would’ve been great to catch up with friends that were running/ taking part in it..
