I'm off to North Downs tomorrow and am trying to decide on 29 or 27.5+.

It's been quite a dry week and it looks like it will be dry tonight so I'm thinking + is the way to go.

Can anyone local advise on how dry the trials are?

Cheers

Whereabouts? Probably dry but expect muddy patches.

I've just got back from riding Peaslake and Holmbury. Typical October trail conditions IMO; plenty of dry sections, gloop where expected and an increasing number of leaves.

Overall v good. ''Twas much fun.

Thanks for the replies. I've put my plus wheels back on. I think I jumped the gun with the 29ers a few weeks ago.
