Anyone  been out last few days and can state if trails around holmbury are not crazy filthy . Looking at a few cheeky hours tomorrow morning , but prob not worth it if a sludge fest with recent rains .. thanks

Wouldn't expect it to be too bad. Been some rain but not sure it's enough to make it bad given it's been during the week so less traffic and had a good period of weather that's baked out of the worst of the winter. Could be wrong though. Holmbury is more sandy and holds up better so I'd expect that to be fairly good. Pitch hill might have some slop areas.

North Downs though is technically the ridge north of Peaslake/Pitch/Holmbury/Leith (Greensands Ridge), and that's a different story. Clay on that ridge and avoid when wet. Would be okay as sun hits exposed areas, but from attempts couple weeks back it can get real nasty in shaded wood areas and was needing a while more to proper dry out.

All said, rain due overnight.
