You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Im rather fancying the Norco Search XR C Gravel bike, however I really cannot stand the thought of spending that much money at anything owned by the loathsome Mike Ashley - Evans Cycles. However this is proving very difficult. Does anyone know of any other shops who deal with Norco, or am I going to have to abandon my principles and go to Evans?
I thought Evans were the importer? so even if you don’t buy from Evans, the dealer will... could be wrong though.
Yep, Norco in the UK is an Evans brand.
Mike Ashley aside, there are also a lot of good, hardworking people who depend on Evans for a wage.

Do it for the staff and the bike you want.
On the last thread with a similar theme someone said that Ashley had actually increased wages for staff. In a similar boat as I bought a Jamis Renegade so no other option. The local branch seemed staffed by a decent bunch as they got it ready for me to take away on the day.
Staff in my local Evans have been excellent over the years, was more than happy to buy our third Pinnacle last month
I wouldn't have a job right now if it weren't for Mike Ashley's investment in the cycle industry.
And I enjoy the job.
Suck it up and buy from Evans. My Norco Search XR C is one of the best bikes I've ever owned and I just finished DK200 on it!
