I'm building up my PX London Road. I have a pair of Avid BB5 calipers that I got from the classifieds. I have a pair of Shimano wheels that take centrelock rotors. My questions:
1. If I mount the calipers directly to the frame, what size rotors do I need to use?
2. Can I use Shimano centrelock rotors?
Told you they were noob questions 🙂
I found my BB7 pads fouled on the spider of the center lock rotor. The little tabs on the pads. This was a 160mm rotor. I ended up using Avid 160mm 6 bolt rotors with center lock adapters for the hubs.
That's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks man 🙂
There's a fitment chart on the avid website, pretty sure direct mounting (no conical washers or spacers at all will be 140mm...
Also using BB5 on a London Road...

They refer to it as '0 direct' for reference I think I am using the '20 S' CPS mounting kit with 160mm six bolt rotors...
