I live abroad and am now a non uk resident but want a uk credit card.I have various accounts with the nat west which I have had for 20 years and they happily send my statements to me here in Italy. Can I change my address to my mothers in the uk apply for a credit card and then change it back when I have the account ? Or is it more complicated than that.thanks Ben

Gut feeling is that after twenty years you don't want to mess them about assuming you have an otherwise sensible relationship with them. So you need to talk or write to someone where your account is, asking the question.
thanks for the reply slowoldgit.I don't feel any loyalty to them even after 20 years they are a bank and unfortunately aren't on our side. The bank manager knows me but the credit card company has nothing to do with the branch if i have my facts right.I just want to know what i have to do to fulfill the criteria for the card.
