Have been to Halfords and rattled their D Locks and they all made a noise. Bike Hut and Kryptonite Evolution.

Are there any quiet ones that come with an ingenious carrying  system for smaller frames?

Carry it in something that supports the D and the lock part? Twofish lockblocks, two on the bars one on the stem so there's nothing to rattle?

Some may be less rattly than others, but I don't believe there a way of carrying them on the bike (rather than on you or in a bag) that is completely rattle free.

My kryptonite has a rubber o ring that you can push up to stop the rattle, but guess what happens once it's vibrated a bit? The ring slips back slightly and it rattles!

I've given up trying to frame mount and stick it in a backpack.

Have an Evo as well, it's not too bad on the mount but does have a slight rattle that only strapping it to something will solve. Maybe make a frame bag for it?
