As above, can anyone recommend a mount for 35 mm diameter bars that isn't (a) stupidly expensive and (b) doesn't extend the unit too far in front of the bars.
Bonus points for including the Amazon link! 😉
The regular mount supplied with Garmin unit will go around 35mm bars, cheap as chips I'd have thought.
There's also a company that makes mounts for top tubes (if that's of interest). Annoyingly I cant find them at the moment though!
I’ve used the OE mounts (silicone banded and the clamp based in front mount) on 35’s just fine. The clamp one is a bit fiddly at that size but does work.
k-edge top cap mount.
Thanks Mashr but I think your definition of "reasonably priced" is different than mine! 😉
And thanks Vincienup - I'm using the O-ring mount currently but the "gasket" doesn't sit properly on bars this wide.
I've got the original Garmin mount on my road bike and was looking buying another for my mountain bike but Garmin's are even more expensive than the Bar-Fly.
I can't use K-Edge top cap mount as I've already got a One-Up EDC tool installed in the steerer though I've since found

Don't know how sensitive you are to price but superstar do them as well

RaceWare via Merlin:

Superstar one's aren't listed as 35mm compatible but the Raceware look ok. As I'm in Canada, I'll try and find something on Amazon.ca...
Thanks all!
Used K Edge. 😀
We do 2 lengths depending on model of Garmin in both 32 and 35mm options
Hint the 35mm ones have 35mm in the item name😜

As Neil said, watch out because you need the slightly longer one if you have an Edge 1000/1030/810 rather than the smaller models. It's really rather nicely made
@Neil Superstar
I was going to order the smaller mount (I have the Edge 530) until postage to Canada was added...at £300!!!
Hopefully this is just a glitch on your website! 😀

We also do out front ones for 35mm bars
Sorry markgraylish but we gave up using Royal Mail to ship outside the EU as so many parcels went missing (nicked by customers who said it never turned up and demanded refunds, as we had several forum posts overseas pointed out to us where people were openly discussing that this was what they were doing even giving reviews of their free stuff which never turned up...)
So courier only now, and it costs a fortune sorry.

I use the garmin O ring mount backed up with 2 slices of old inner tube as a stabilizer/tensioner .Works really well-doesn't move unless you choose to move it to adjust for light angles.
This is on 35mm bars:

Hi Neil
Is the 35mm Garmin mount (short) suitable for the 830?

Many thanks

That 76projects mount is sweet. It keeps the GPS out the way in a crash, holds the unit super secure. Recommended
