You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Looking to transplant my hardtail over, but non boost wheels/forks, so hoping to find a non-boost frame, they are centrelock rotors, so no kit will turn them into boost, which leave me looking at non-boost frames.
Are there any going these days, and not stanton like prices, even struggling to find second hand, bloody brexitcovidhyperinflationguelshortage!
a) I you tag line you forgot "opportunistic prices increase as competition has gone"
b) I think you will be very luck to find anything "modern" that is no boost
c) What are you looking for?
If (and probably a big if) you can find one most Surly frames claim to be able to do either boost or not. They have a silly branded word for it but the website explains. I think they are made in between size and you spring them in or out a bit to suit.
Genesis longitude I think is 135 mm, but don't know whether it is QR or thru axle.
Hope this helps.
Surly gnot-boost!

There are boost kits for centrelock hubs.
Set up a stock alert for one of these. Https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/brand-x-ht-01-hardtail-mtb-frame-27-5-2019/rp-prod130452
Just seeing what's about in terms of frames off the shelf, been hunting secondhand but not much coming up, basically i've dinged my old kona explosif, and it's been growing over the last few months, so time to start looking at suitable donor frames!
I think the Stanton and Pole hardtails allow use of non-boost dropouts.
Get the adaptor and buy a boost frame, seems a bit silly to buy old tech when boost is pretty universal now
Buy new hubs and spokes. I went the adapter route for a while but it's more of a nuisance in the end than just rebuilding onto a boost hub.
There's a Chromag Rootdown in a large over on PB just now. 2014 model which is 142 I'm sure. Nice riding bikes.
