I have a second hand SC Nomad 3 and I have a play in the shock pivots.
Do I ever need to replace the shock eye bushes that are tight in the shock?
I had a TF tuned bolt kit for the shock links from the guy that owned it.
Any info greatly received.

Just replace the lot for what its worth. Then at least you'll have the peace of mind. They're about £18 from tft and it's usually the rear 1 that needs replacing

I had mine replaced with titanium ones, the front bearly wears, the rear gets a lot of movement so wears quicker. If the guy who bought it new has a receipt, sc give you free bearings so you can do all at same time for not much cash.

The bushes that press into the actual eyelets are the most important part as that's where the play comes from. You should replace them. Ive always swapped DU for poly ones.

Are DU ones the metal ones?
Sorry, what does it stand for?
Would metal ones last longer than PU ones?

DU are metal, dry unlubricated I think it stands for, as they are self lubricating, poly seem to last longer, are smoother and easier to fit, lots of people have switched over, start a poll on here to find out which is best, I bought a 4 pack ages ago and still haven't used the second pair, so they do last.
