Recently built up a new bike using a 12 speed XT groupset which could be ordered with either a 45t or 51t cassette and opted for the 45t.
Once setup the top jockey wheel is a bit too far from the cassette even with the b screw fully out, with it fully out it doesn't seem under enough tension to stop it tapping/rattling a bit. On the back of the mech there is the line indicating position for the 51t.
There was no option to specify different mechs but looking online there is a 2x version that looks better spec'd to match the 45t - is it worth trying one of these (which seem quite uncommon) or whimp out and get the 51t?
