I've a very noisy fox rear shock that sounds like a trapped gopher being squeezed to within an inch of it's life everytime it compresses. Has anyone had a similar experience and is there a quick and cheap fix? Its been suggested to take apart and apply grease.

its only a tenner for the bits to do an air sleeve service, that'll probably sort it out

If I remember right, that's the sound of nitrogen having escaped into the damping oil. i'd call Mojo or TF to confirm, but I think you'll need a full service there.
I gave it an air sleeve service a few months ago and a right royal pain the arse that was. Didn't do much to stop it squeaking either, though perhaps I didn't put enough oil back in. A full service would be ideal but as I fly to France in a week I neither have the time or money to cover such an outlay until I get back 🙁
