I'm spending time quieting down my drive train as it just annoys me (bye bye hope 🙂 ) the last thing I can't get quiet enough is my chain device. I'm using a superstar plasma with slx cranks, 34t e13 single ring and using 11-36 cassette - its all on a nomad, I'm also assuming the BB has correct spacers fitted but not stripped it down yet to check.
Flicking through an old mag it mentioned the "perfect 51mm" chain line and it got me thinking is there more to this than me the numpty just playing about?
Any opinions or things to look at would be great and buying a new chain guard isn't an option at the moment 🙂
