Get a kind of echo-ey grind noise when brakes are on gently. Noise goes away when on full

Think this may be because rotors are worn? Anyone had this? There’s a fair ‘shoulder’ on the edge of the braking surface

Have you had a look at the pads? Any uneven wear? I've seen this before when the wrong adapter has been used and it's left a bad grove.

If the rotors are straight and not overly worn them just try re centering them and see if that solves it.

CHeck they aren't below minimum thickness.

If the braking surface on the rotor isn't perfectly flat, replace the rotors and the pads and bed them in properly. If the pads aren't too worn, keep them as spares. They'll work ok once they wear down flat, but you don't want to try to bed in new rotors with pads that aren't flat.
