Running them tubeless on Stans Rims with plenty of sealant.
But have noticed that on the sidewalls of my Nobby Nic Evo the thread from the tire carcass is quite noticable. i.e every inch or so you can see the diaganol thread pattern and sometimes it's a little fluffy.
Tires still have plenty of tread left. It's a 2.25 which I am very happy with, as a front tire.
Reckon they are only about 10hard rides old. Do have another Nic which is the snakeskin version, but it just didn't seem to ride as nice!
What do you reckon? Safe or suicide.
Don't want to fork out for another tire, but would rather spend £30 than faceplant due to an exploding tire.
Will it go pop and then make me go splat. Or should I stop worrying?
i've been riding some intense system 4's like that for a year at least. the outer rubber doesn't serve to keep them airtight
