Rims are reynolds carbon from superstar...or should I go for their special edition sale AM Carbom with 24mm internal on switch hubs. Thanks.

Of course not. Do Nics come in 2.35" though? Thought they were 2.25" or 2.4".
I ran the 2.25"s on 17mm rims with no ill effects before people starting giving a shit about this sort of thing and fitting 90mm wide rims.

My experience is that they will squirm a bit, and likelihood of tire rolling off is increased, so you won't be able to run at low pressures
