Does anyone know if a Nobby Nic 26 x 2.35 will fit onto a Cotic Soul without rubbing the stays - apparently 2.4 is a maximum tyre size but widths do vary.

That's what I use half the time. No problems at all.
Don't even get occasional stones stuck in the side nobbles striking the chainstay, unlike when I use 2.35 Maxxis HR2's (on FlowEX rims).
