no riding for me. snow on them hills so didn't want to driving in crap weather

A couple of rides on the moors between Threshfield and Malham. I was on the fat bike yesterday:

Couldn't find it either. Went for a quick ride round Talybont Reservoir in the Beacons on Friday, was the calmest I've ever seen it.

Didn't get out yesterday or today.

Was supposed tobe leading a FLAB road ride Saturday morning but the dusting of snow and ice made me cancel it, so I did a quick 12 miles off road instead.

Then the postman brought me my Ride Managers certificate from a course a week ago.

And then Sir Dave Brailsford presented me and the other club ride leaders with a little medal last night at the club awards night. 8)

Foul weather here but I managed a 20 mile road ride yesterday and another 60 odd today. All without leaving the garage.

My garage is bloody enormous.

Ive spent the start of the weekend puking my guts up 🙁

But eldest_oab and youngest_oab went to Falkirk Fundoro. Youngest placed 97th overall, but eldest posted 2nd in youth and 9th overall....! This despite a slip off bridge and catching up and having to wait for two in front to dib out a stage...

No cycling for me this weekend, but a birthday surprise at butlins bognor Regis for an adult only soul weekend.

Yesterday I went to my local trails for the first time since logging began, pretty stoked that things are happening again. Today I went to Cwm Rhaeadr. Other than yesterday being quite cold Mid Wales hasn't been terrible weather, in fact today was pretty nice.

1st time i've seen this drained in 50 years, maybe even since victorian times when it was built. not strictly legal to ride it but it was a once in a few life times opportunity

No biking for me this weekend instead I was helping future Mrs Hall at the Hepworth Christmas market.

rode my commuter/ fixed across the new forest to check out Velo Cafe in Ringwood. First ride fixed, other than commuting, for 3 years. Was a brutal ride into a headwind to start; I just had to double cake!! The cake was good but the coffee was fantastic. Ride back was tough but at leat i had a tailwind for some of it. 83 km fixed made my legs very wobbly, cadence hitting >160 wont have helped!

Wish there was some snow down here

Wasn't feeling up for it last night, but met a mate and his neighbour for a ride. 15 mile round trip from home. Neighbour was on a hardtail ebike and I was on a rigid SS. It was quite an interesting mix. Pleased I got out though

Little stop at the halfway point with a hipflask. Quite chilly but had to take my mid layer jersey off as I was too warm. Needed my insulated vest for the stop though!
