Both can be set-up rigid with the respective carbon rigid forks. The niner looks a bit nicer and is probably lighter.The On-one is significantly cheaper.
(I'm looking at something to run singlespeed in XC races and general xc style trail riding)
Real owners- let me know your views...

Have a lurcher, great trail bike, haven't ridden a niner though, personally I'd pimp the lurcher with the grand+ you'd save
