I need to reproof an 8 year jacket and I’ve tended to use Nikwax tech wash and spray-on proofer on the outside only when jacket still wet. Do you guys do this or use wash-in proofer which obvs covers in and out? It’s an Endura MT500 FWIW…oh, and best way of drying to get best results?

Unless the jacket has a separate, drop-liner, i tend to use wash-in stuff - run a boil wash through your empty machine before washing to clean out some of the left-over from your normal detergent. Ideally tumble dry on a low heat setting or line dry it then iron carefully at a low temperature (see garment care instructions if you can still read them.  Don't iron reflective stuff as it may bork it.
