Planning on changing the bearings in my Nicolai G13.

Got an RRP bearing tool and all the bearings direct from Nicolai. Any dos/don'ts, tips and tricks before I start and lose the will to live?

Ta

Buy the bearing tool from Geometron as it's designed specifically for it and you'll need the threaded tool to remove the main axles...

Don't be afraid the smack the two main axles to get them out.

Make sure you push the linkage rocker bearing out from the drive side.

Make sure to remove the circlips before trying to remove the rear chainstay bearings.

It's a pretty straight forwards job.

Ask them for some instructions.  I seem to remember there being an order to the linkage bearings on my G16 (possibly different to yours) that made life easier if followed.

As said above, axle tool ideally too.  Could probably be bodged or I think Orange cycles tool may be the same size if you know anyone with one of those

Definitely this! Ask me how I know 😛

Other than that, it was straightforward on my old Helius.

So need to remove the axles first.

Another tool! Hopefully I can get before Easter break.
