Ladies and Gentlemen I've just authorised to inform you that summer has been cancelled for this year. We thank you all for your interest and we'll try again next year.

pi55ing it down here in North Notts - so although I have a family-free morning which would normally be the prime opportunity for a ride, I'm topping up my coffee and biscuit levels

🙁

(and the first person that suggests I won't dissolve can get to f... - I've done my share of getting soaked this year)

to be honest the rain is really starting to pee me off now.

I went out last week and the trails were super slippy and riding for 4 hours in driving rain is just not pleasant.

I mainly ride a lot on the peninne bridleway north of Rochdale and oldham and the trails are in their worst state for years at the moment as parts of the trail have washed away

Just putting the sun lounger out here in Dorset. Might go for a dusty ride after lunch.

Meanwhile in the Mystic East it's shorts and short sleeve weather.

Just arrived in the Cotswolds and am wondering whether the fact the wind is strong enough to dry everything before it gets wet is a consolation

Not cancelled as such, it just arrived a few months early and didn't stay long. I blame the pea-dohs, and Blair (assuming he isn't one).

on the plus side it is dry in Didcot. On the minus side I am in Didcot.
I think today is going to be F1 qualifying followed by the DH finals.

I had a great, dry, off-road ride around Cambridgeshire yesterday. I even found some new routes I'd not been on before. No rain.

The rain has relented here for the time being, looks like it'll be back before long though.

Glorious sunshine and high cloud here in Eastbourne, shame I'm on nights and a total zombie.

Brightening here in the Ilkeston Highlands. Half an inch of rain this morning has left streams overflowing and roads as, well, streams.

Glad I'm not helping at Drum Hill - 1200 cubs camping there this weekend, they'll be somewhat damp I'll wager!

Arrrrrgghh the weather yes......errrrr local bridleways have been like rivers with a few inches of water cascading down them, rocks getting washed to the bottom, big ruts cut out by flowing water. Still all the green stuff likes it and at least it's not cold eh.

Been threatening for the last few days in Cornwall, yet remains humid above and baked underfoot. Tomorrow the heavens are forecast to give it up. Bring it on could do with a ride&wash...
