Short problem: What pin (or sram split link) to rejoin Nexus type CN NX 10 9L chain?
Long version: Neighbours bike chain kept failing off, I offered to help but he just wanted to borrow my chain tool as he was going to shorten chain. He came back somewhat frustrated today as he couldn't get the pin back in despite several days trying. I explained that he couldn't just push out & shove back in any old pin and he'd need a special re-joining pin doofer thingamajiger. He was impressed by my in-depth knowledge of all thing bicycle. I went round with a variety of 7, 8 & 9 speed split links but nothing would fit.
After Googling problem, all I get is either new chain options or a variety of solutions for Cisco routers. So I can pretend I am a cycle mechanic genius, what should I order to fix chain (needs to be online seller as I'm not in UK just now).
Bump...anyone know what size I need to order to fix this kind/size chain?
