Electric transmission, brakes and 2wd?
I can see some appeal of electric transmission on a commuter even if it stunts the range somewhat, 2wd less so. On a mountainbike maybe 2wd could work, and maybe the lack of efficiency in the electric drivetrain would be offset by regenerative braking?
Suspension might be the least interesting part of it, could just be relying on the modulus and hysteresis of the CF stays for damping (canyon having done the same in their road seatposts for years). The bearings might just be floating magnets to reduce moving parts.
