Cheap ish? €700 seems a lot for what reads like an Alu rim on possibly proprietary but likely rebadged hubs.

well yeah its a set of boost 30mm wide 29er wheels that weigh 1.68kg with a sram xd freehub. so cheap ish.  unless there are cheaper for that for an equivalent spec that I haven't seen.

regardless, have you heard of them?

They're German so not heard of much here. Plenty of very good test results in German bike mags, and multiple Newmen wheels are specced on 2018 Cube bikes.

They come on a lot of the 2018 Cube bikes, seem ok, certainly no worse than fulcrum

Look okay, but I’d be going for a custom build DT XM481on 240s from actionsprts for slightly less money (€670 and c1790g when spec’d wit rev’s and sram freehub)

@momo:

yes - started to order custom wheels from actionsports as well.

Excellent service and it takes around two weeks to get your custom wheels. For mtb stuff I use their FUN WORKS rims and DT Swiss 370 hubs. Around Euro 80 for front wheel and around Euro 115 for rear wheel.
