You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hello,
Going to spend a few days riding near Newcastleton, Scottish border, and there are the obvious trail centres next to it to try out. However I was wondering if there is something a bit more adventurous nearby. On the map, I can see west of Newcastleton some interesting tops such as Cooms Fell, Watch Hills,etc...No path linking them but are they feasible? Any other options in this area?
cheers,
Gilles
You can ride over to Kielder. Strava might be a good bet to see where people have ridden. Or this is a good site to look at potential trails if you have the time http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm
Thanks for the link, I will have a browse.
There are lots of rides out of Langholm, need to Strava/search though.
The MTAF (in Langholm) put a great route round the town, Its on my strava i'll send a link if you pm me, there are plenty of other great stuff around though, avoid Keilder like the plague.
