I'm currently running XTR M9000 brakes but I'm thinking about swapping to XTR 11 speed shifters.
If i buy i-Spec shifters, can I convert my brakes to run as i-Spec as well or wold I need new brakes?

Brakes are ispec out of the box. Ispec shifters will fit fine, new xtr m9k stuff is all ispec 2.

Brilliant, thanks for that.

I thought the brakes may be I-Spec as standard as C couldn't find any I-SPec specific ones anywhere but I wanted to confirm first.

I'm a little confused, I have 2015 XTR shifters and brakes, am I right in assuming I just need an ispec 2 adaptor ?

You can convert them, but you may be cheaper to sell yours and buy i-spec versions.
RRP is £39.99 per side for the I-spec cover assemblies.
Part nos are Y01V98040 and Y01V98050

I'd leave them as they are if I were you.
