I know the whole range had Pinarelloesque forks but every time I see this I assume they've fitted them the wrong way round. Also, how many people are going to end up with them the wrong way round because of their expectation of how a fork should look?
I couldn't have one in the house, I want to get an allen key out every time I see it.

Rider at end of career attempts to cash in by putting name on bikes shocker. How original. Does it come with sideburn stickers?
Oh FFS: Does he really need to do this kind of crap? Surely he's made a decent wedge from his career, and will continue to do so (books, speaking engagements, TV appearances, coaching etc etc)? All this does is make him a bit of a laughing-stock.
Doesn't seem to be doing Mr Hoys reputation any harm? Why single out Wiggo?
They actually seem to be fairly good childrens bikes, not quite as light as Islabikes but not far off...............

There's the supermarket bike/corporate sellout vibe about the Wiggins-branded Halfords, while Sir Hoy teamed up with a bicycle manufacturer/retailer and actually did have an input on some of the bikes (not the children's, obviously).

I'm not sure Hoy needs to do it, either.
To be honest, I'm generally against this sort of celebrity branding, unless it's a product the person has had a hand in developing. Have Hoy or Wiggins been involved in the development of any of the bikes they've put their name to? If so, then I take it back.
Edit: Dammit! Beaten to it
yeah but why does it have horizontal dropouts..?
It's an ugly sumbitch isn't it?
Black and Red reminds me of a MFI colour scheme from the 80s
To keep the chain tig- oh !
So little shredders can change their wheelbase when their parents start banging on about how the chainstays on their new bike being 7mm shorter make it a far better technical climber and more chuckable innit
I'm sure the brakes can handle that wheelbase tweak.... 😯

He potentially still has a pretty long life to live yet and needs to make the money while he can. A lot of sports start from 80s and 90s probably don't make much money from their name nowadays. Big assumption to think he will always be called on for TV, speaking, etc,.
Battaglin?
Merckx?
Lemond?
Louison Bobet?
Moser?
It's not a new thing. Cyclists have been forming/branding bike companies for years.
I see Laura Trott's range of bikes is launched in Halfords today too.
Pendleton went with Halfords as well. Oh and a certain Chris Boardman seem to be doing alright selling his bike there as well!
Snobs gonna be snobs.......
Looks alright in my opinion.
